In Search Of Sun This Autumn?

Our long hot summer (!!) of sporting success seems to be a distant memory, and the children have all gone back to school (grandparents collectively breathe a huge sigh of relief!). This all means it’s time for many of us to take a well earned break, before the excitement and planning for Christmas begins! Whether you are off somewhere tropical to become sun bronzed on a white sandy beach, or whether you are staying closer to home, do have a great time.

Most burglars are opportunists who do not plan their crimes but constantly look for an easy chance to enter a property – either your home, or your office – through a door or window that has been left open.

Freshfields 2012 – What a party!

The sun rose (more or less) over Fawcetts Field on August 18th, after almost a week of torrential rain!  After  a week of preparation, it was at last ‘Showtime’ for what we believe is the biggest artistic event ever staged in New Milton!

‘Forever Young’ , the Keith Collins musical blog

When the sun (hopefully) rises on the 18th of August, it will be to dozens of volunteers rushing around like headless chickens on Fawcett Field in New Milton. The ‘Freshfields 2012′ festival will be in the final stages of preparation, ready for opening at 11.00am. Started last year as ‘New Milton Community Festival’ , this is truly a festival for the community. Nobody is paid and much of the infrastructure is either donated or heavily discounted by local companies.

BLOG: Keep on top of it and don’t panic!

It’s that time of year again. Deadlines are looming and those dreaded summer exams are perched on the horizon. It feels like everything is piling on top of you and there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Every time one thing gets done, there is always something else waiting.

But don’t panic! I know as well as the next person, that’s easier said than done, but I’ve found a few things which really do help get me through.
